The staff is very friendly. The location is fantastic, close to fields and surrounded by a forest. - The room is lovely and comes with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. - The facilities are excellent.

The hotel had a unique and charming character, with a rich history and beautiful antique furnishings. the location of the hotel was ideal, situated on the outskirts of a city and nestled in a quiet and peaceful area. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings and the ability to escape from the noise of the city.

Our room was not what we expected, as it had a safari theme with stuffed animals on display. We were anticipating a grand room in the main house, so it was a bit disappointing.

our second stay in saint-saturnin was even better than before. domaine de chatenay - le mans went above and beyond, upgrading us to their fabulous suite. the hosts were knowledgeable and accommodating, suggesting a wonderful meal in le mans. the history and charm of the property made for a memorable experience. highly recommend!

Our stay at Domaine De Chatenay - Le Mans was truly unforgettable. The majestic manor house, steeped in history, provided a charming and quaint atmosphere. The comfortable beds and linens ensured a restful night's sleep. The grounds were impressive, with the opportunity to feed the donkey and goat, accompanied by the owner's friendly dogs. The breakfast, although not included in the rate, was of a high standard and set us up nicely for the day. The owner, who spoke excellent English, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Despite a minor glitch with the payment, the hotel owner was extremely helpful and resolved the issue promptly. The location, not far from the motorway, made it a perfect overnight stop on our way to Le Mans. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable experience.
